Facebook users create 200M videos to 'Say Thanks'

Facebook users appear eager to "Say Thanks" this holiday.

The social network says more than 200 million Say Thanks videos have been created by users since it launched last month. The service lets users create personalized video cards to share with friends.

During peak usage, Facebook users were crafting 3.3 million per hour.

Brazil topped the list of countries creating Say Thanks videos, followed by the U.S., Mexico, The Philippines and Thailand. Rounding out the top 10: Italy, Turkey, Argentina, India and the United Kingdom.

Say Thanks, available through desktop and mobile, lets users choose a friend or multiple friends, then create a video using photos posted on the social network along with a personalized message. Videos appear on the creator's timeline as well as tagged friends.
