Android Lollipop Would Encrypt Your Data Right From The Installation

Yes !, you read it correctly! The latest version of Android namely, Android Lollipop Would encrypt your data right from its installation.

This facility was offered optionally back in some days but now from the release of the Android L ,  encryption has been implemented as a major security measure to save user’s data. Due to this , Android L will stay on the same level with IOS 8! .

“Encryption keys are stored inside the device, so that even Google can not provide confidential information to the authorities,” said Google SpokesWoman Niki Christoff , the Washington Post.

Measures taken by Google comes as the scandal that corporations were involved after the revelations of Edward Snowden on their Collaboration with NSA. Therefore, once enabled encryption, the big producers can raise quietly shrug, even in case the official requests by governments.

On the other hand, the police officials complain that the increasingly higher security devices make access more difficult, and this makes harder their ability to prevent a crime or even terrorist attacks.

Law enforcement Agencies are not happy with the above taken measures because even if they would be having a warrant of the criminal , they wont be able to decrypt the data which is locally stored on that person’s phone.

Elenkov explains. “However, because Android has chosen to reuse the lock-screen PIN or password (maximum length 16 characters), in practice most people are likely to end up with a relatively short or low-entropy disk encryption password.”In other words: the strength of the disk encryption on Android was as strong (or weak) as your lock-screen password And in most Scenarios it is useless as people are too lazy to set long lock-screen passwords.

From the Android 4.4 Google took a huge Step towards a strong crypto-System but the thing was that their data was protected by just a pin or a passCode which could be easily broken down. But with Android L its not like that. But still the reason is unclear.

“In addition to enabling FDE out of the box, Android L is expected to include hardware protection for disk encryption keys, as well as hardware acceleration for encrypted disk access,” Elenkov Says . “These two features should make FDE on Android both more secure and much faster.”

Huawei Ascent Mate 7 Plus images leaked, Almost Non-Existent Bezels

Huawei launched its Ascent Mate 7 phablet back at IFA 2014, but the company already seems to be working on a successor for the device.

The upcoming model is reportedly called the Huawei Ascent Mate 7 Plus and a few pictures of it already surfaced online, giving us an impression of what we should expect in the upcoming months (as seen at Gizmo China).

The images don’t reveal much, but we do get to take a glance at the device’s screen which seems to sport non-existing bezels, if I can say so.

But the overall look of the unannounced device retains strong Mate 7 vibes, including the company’s back branding on the back panel and the position of the frontal camera, sensors and earpiece.

The current Huawei Mate 7 is a pretty worthy device, arriving with a 6-inch screen and a premium metal design.

The handset relies on an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin processor fitted with either 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB and 32GB of internal storage.

So it will be interesting to see what enhancements will be bestowed on the Mate 7 Plus.

Maybe the producing company will port the dual-camera technology from the Honor 6 Plus to the upcoming phablet. This is just speculation at this point, so you better take the information with a grain of salt.
